    Gentlemen,
I haven’t contributed anything of value lately...life has its ways I suppose.

    Vintage AE (long wing tips!)

Hi guys, cross posting this from the AE thread. Came across these at VV. I am not considering purchasing them, but they were interesting enough to snap some pics. Upper leather is thick, super soft, and nice grain pattern. The insole also very thick, but toast. Rock hard, and cracked. The upper is coming off the sole, and they have been repaired inside the heel. Can anybody identify what model or age these are? Inside is printed "arch saddle stitched."

So I got 1/2 way there today. Wing +Tip. Not long or vintage. Already wore lwb twice this week and it felt like a boot day today.
In keeping with the spirit of the thread I wore a heavy wool vintage suit I picked up over the summer.

A60C11E4-4BCE-470D-AE1E-B860C7A8DE26.jpeg Vintage and theme violation here, but like @Shoonoob I’ve worn LWBs twice this week. So here’s AE Bartlett with bonus Chewbacca socks.

I will rarely buy clothes or shoes brand new, now that I understand quality of vintage goods.

The only exception is underwear, socks, and swimming trunks.

I know @wasmisterfu disagrees with my limits.

It probably went to a state school, too.

I pulled my Bean boots out of the closet yesterday, too. Gore-tex lined. Last used on a sledding day in the local mountains last February.

Hey hey, publicly funded schools are just as good as any of the privately funded ones. I went to publicly funded schools my entire life.

I guess that says a lot. Or nothing.

    Hi Guys:

Just picked these up in Blaine:

NOS Florsheim dark blue suede LWBs with the Florsheim version of a Dainite sole. They're not too old but they are discontinued!

    Hello gentlemen,

here are photos of my latest stupid (?) EBay purchase from yesterday. Haven’t received the shoes yet, but I was wondering if anyone has any information about vintage Stacy Adams shoes. These appear to have canvas and leather lining, which makes me think they go back some time.

    Thank you
