From the one view, until proven otherwise, they look like shell to me.

Not shell. If you zoom in on the first photo, there's some clear creasing on the left shoe.

Might be shell. There's one spot on the left vamp that looks almost creased, but might just be a weird bulge. And like mormonopoly says below, eyelet area is suspect.

Those do not look like shell to me. There appears to be a lot of creasing around the eyelets.
