The Foot So Port shoes appear to be from the mid 1950s.

Your Foot-So-Port pair were made in February 1954. I did a post about the date conventions used by this company last year and it can be seen here.

The Foot So Port shoes appear to be from the mid 1950s.

Thanks! I haven't been able to come up with much on the other pair, but assumed they were probably 60s. I did find this, https://www.overattired.com/listing/1546171050/1940s-jetsetter-shoes-vintage-40s-brown, but I don't believe that's accurate.

Here's another unworn pair. These are of course Florsheim 93605s from either 1977 or 1987.

It's been some time since I have worn nicer shoes and @MJMcRibb reminded me that I, too, have a pair of Foot-So-Port shoes I have not worn in forever. Thus, some reliable LWBs for today. These, unlike his, were made in 1994, just 40 years after his pair, and yet are still 31 years old.

How did these turn out for you?

I have my eye on a pair of golden harvest 93631s but am hesitating. I'm afraid they might be too light a color and consequently not get much use in my rotation. What do the vintage experts think? How does the golden harvest color compare to, say, Tricker's acorn?
