Your honorary Canadian citizenship will be rescinded by the King, in short order. Well, we might become the 51st state, so it'd be moot.
I considered this. I’m selling my black Dack’s kudu wholecuts too. That might put me under four pairs. As I recall, honorary citizenship required at least four pairs of made in Canada shoes. But, heck, we may be paisanos soon enough

It has been a little over 2 weeks since my family had to evacuate due to the Eaton fire. We were lucky and live far enough South that we are back in our place and just had cleanup that needed to be done. I packed one backpack with clothes for 4 days and did not allow for anything unnecessary, left most of my clothes and my entire record collection. But I did allow myself to grab my pair of 97623s that I posted here recently, if I was going to have to rebuild my wardrobe it might as well be from the ground up.

It feels wrong to hit "like" on this. It's just good that your family and home are okay.

Made-in-Canada (by McHale) Florshiems today. I’m pandering to @suitforcourt with my footwear selection in hopes that I can keep my honorary Canadian citizenship. It may also please the King to know our neighbors are Canadian and they are close friends. So, between the shoes and knowing some of my best friends are Canadian, I’m good, right?

Wow, so glad you came out of that okay. I have a friend who lost his house in the Palisades. I had a similar shoe experience when I evacuated for a few days when I lived in Agoura Hills, CA. Packing the car included 5-6 pairs of irreplaceable shoes. I felt guilty leaving the others in the closet to fend for themselves.
