AE Shell MacNeils from 1988. I wear these when I have a big day at work. They just have a confident air about them. Sorry for the terrible shot. It’s the best I could do on a busy day.

Need a red zip up cardigan with these.
From left to right:

Allen Edmonds Cavanaugh, not vintage, PM me if interested! Size 7.5D and are a bit too big on me.

Florsheim Royal Imperial 97020.

Dack’s Bespoke Quality cap toe oxford. I find them more comfortable than my Allen Edmonds McAllisters.

Church’s Phillips, brought to popularity by James Bond in Quantum of Solace. Just some VSC made these shine nicely.

Anybody know if Dexter still makes shoes in the US? I don’t know if these are vintage or not, but they’re my size and I’m getting a much better deal on them than Warren Buffett did when we bought the whole company a while back. Also I don’t happen to have any black penny loafers, so they’ll do.

I don't think they make any shoes in US anymore. I read somewhere the US factory closed in the 90s or early 2000s. Your pair is likely vintage.

I can't remember. Has anyone here dyed over black smooth calf yet? I am thinking of sand down a black smooth calf like @shoenoob soon.

Wore my Royal Imperial short wing the other day.

I stopped at 240 grit for the sanding because I wanted nubuck. I'm thinking go up to 400, 800, and 1500 grit after getting down to the raw leather. Dye, condition, cream polish then wax. Should make them smooth calf again in the new color. Unless its a shoe that can only be found in black, or simply a science experiment, I dont think I would do all that to change the color.

Happy Norwegian split toe alligator Wednesday (I didn’t make that up. It’s a thing in Norway. Don’t look it up. Just trust me). Sporting my Edwin Clapp alligators. Among the 7 pair of shoes that are in my top 2. Some of you might recall a crack that emerged. And some of you suggested using contact cement to stop it from spreading. I’m happy to say that it worked. Enjoy the day.

Boycotted wingtip Wednesday and wore Strands today. Look at the fuckery in my office. These are "dress shoes" a guy keeps at his desk.
Edit: I wasn't snooping, he left the box open like that.

I've converted a few coworkers to vintage or AE but some people are beyond help.
