    Used yesterday's snow day in the mid-Atlantic to spruce up the only Florsheims that I have...93602 (late 70s), 96624 (early 90s), and 93605 (late 70s or 80s). My wife can now spot a longwing on her thrift store runs a mile away. Unfortunately, rarely are they vintage or in my size (12D). So when she finds those, she grabs them right up. However, she did think these 93605s were Corfam though : )

    I watched the game. Well, the first part of it. Zion did an excellent job deconstructing that pair of Nikes. Much quicker than I could do it.

    I don't believe his pair is resoleable.

    These would look better in the sun, but Alden 563 shell is always fun to wear.

    Thrifting bonanza!

    Some oldies, and some newbies.

    1. AE Grayson’s and vintage Church’s;

    2. A cool pair of likely custom made Florsheim;

    3. Boss, To Boot NYC, and Boss again.

    The rain has stopped, so I’m breaking out the shell cordovan. Casual Friday means Hanover shell saddle oxfords.

    Vintage 1980’s Alden 990 shell, with the 4-A’s logo. Got these beauties in a trade with a bro from the thrift thread a while back. 7C2BAFC5-CFCB-4064-8569-144A2FB4F0F9.jpeg

    Great minds! I went with my saddles, too. Nice shade on yours. Mine are Florsheim imperials, though.

    Are these your size? Sorry, a brother from the shoe group on Facebook called dibs already. Plus more sensible to ship to another guy in Canada.

    I, like you and many others, have a pair of 93602s. Seeing yours today reminds me of just how classic they are. If I only used one word to describe them, it would be "balanced." The size of the wing, the stitching, the brogue, the pebbled leather and all other aspects just appears to be so proportional to each other. All of it just makes the shoe look "right." Thank goodness that Florsheim made so many that NOS and lightly used pairs are still available for us.

    Box from New York was on the porch when I arrived. Not nearly as badass as the City Club half spades from @meister but the spirit is there. I am very pleased. Park Aves with some pizzazz. Pardon the socks, I was excited to try them on.

    No worries. I'm all set for this model, and have a pair in shell I just got a couple of months ago. Maybe I’ll wear them on Monday.
