Have any of you used them to make your own custom bag? I was there this weekend and for a bag with a predesigned pattern, they don't charge you extra. It is interesting b/c when I asked to see their leather samples, he sent me to the back where I could choose the actual piece of leather from which it would be cut. Any experience?

Sorry to bump an old thread. I've used Village tannery in 2011 for a laptop bag. But when I went back to the village last year, they were not around. Anyone knows if they're still in business?
