Vilebrequin bathing suits

This has to be the most irrational purchase ever - I picked up on Friday a matching set of Vilebrequin bathing suits for my 1.5 year old son, Nate, and myself, on the occasion of me signing him up for his first parent/child 'swimming' class. Check this out - Vilebrequin I chose a nice butterfly pattern in washed red (out of hundreds of patterns available). The price: $70 for him, $145 for me. My soon to be ex-wife simply cannot find out about this, or I'm toast. I'm sure we'll have tons of fun in the pool together. Now I only have to see how they fit over his waterproof diaper...

BTW. Was it on sale or did you pay full price? About now childrens retailers should ALL be close to half off.

child support she takes for granted - it's alimony she's after and in big numbers (she doesn't work). And you know, every dollar you spend can and will be used against you in a court of law...

Yes, I paid full retail. The store is a specialty store in Soho for this brand, and I've been informed it's never on sale. As I said, irrational. But aren't those cool bathing suits?

They do look nice. The concept of 70 for a kids bathing suit while high is not irrational. We sell them for that much, and the la perla suits (they make la perla for kids as well) for the kids can go higher than that. I have never heard of this brand though. I will look into it for this upcoming spring seasons buying(the buying season starting this week. How Jolly&#33

. I assume that they are french judging from their website. ( they dont offer it in any other language) Enjoy the suit and the kid and take care. You might want to edit the post though... When it come to alimony...eyes are everywhere... JJF

Those suits are also carried at Sak's last s/s and this one. I bought aa pretty pricey ETRO last summer- but feel it was worth it as well. You'll enjoy it. It's so cool watching them learn things like swimming.

Think of it as a Father's Day gift.
