1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

That's my point. You can on the Wiis. So either N thinks they can make more money selling the individual downloads on other systems, sees it as an incentive to get people to keep buying Wiis, or really just doesn't give a shit and picked 30 games to load and still make a buttload of cash selling the minis anyways.

That and adding more games and/or Internet ability would add to the cost of the system...

Did you even read anything about the system? They aren't going to sell any additional titles to load onto it.

I know that. I'm talking about the Wiis in that respect.

A Wii is still like $90. This is $60 and is much closer to impulse buy/stocking stuffer territory. Plus it's going to have a dead simple UI, looks like a NES and comes with classic style controllers. You plug it in, turn it on and game. No accounts to set up and fiddle with.

I agree that it should be even cheaper then $60, but don't underestimate how much of a difference the pricing here will make to the target buyer.

Agreed. $60 is what a normal console game costs now, so I can see this being a Christmas gift for an older gamer easily.

Or a Christmas gift for the kids of someone who grew up playing these games. I could see parents buying it for them, so they could play the games they remember with their children.

Reddit is having an absolute meltdown over the new Hearthstone adventure expansion. The vast majority of this rage is centered around Priest. As someone who loves playing the class, I can relate with everyone's feelings. One of the three new Priest cards is this garbage.

This is not what Priest needed. Hell, this card is not what any class needed.

Anyone who plays the game and cares should watch this as it nails why the card is not only bad, but will actually make Priest weaker in certain game modes like Arena.

LoL, Brain Kibler was just commenting about that Reddit thread. You should read what he has to say about it all.

On his Twitter or in the Reddit thread?

I've seen a few of his comments. Maybe Reddit is being too negative, but I also think he's being too forgiving. Purify is a garbage card with barely any tools to work with it in a positive manner in the meta.

I gave up on hearthstone around the Grim Patron craze. Too fucking frustrating.

I'm still pretty into The Division...countless hours sunk. Any games you guys are excited about coming out? No Man Sky keeps popping up.

Dishonored 2. The first one is a favorite of mine.

Andromeda, of course - though who knows when we'll see that.

Wow. No one was expecting Blizzard to come out and make a statement like this. Good on them. I think it was the right move and will go a long way towards building good will with the more vocal of the fan base who has been feeling ignored.

Got back to Witcher 3. Undoubtedly, it's the best game of this generation. Every little quest has something interesting and unique going on. I'm completely addicted.

I haven't touched HS since the Grand Tournament expansion...

I did just pre-purchase the No Man's Sky game for PC. It looks like a fun game to fart around exploring new planets without having an overly in-depth gameplay system that would turn off my ever more casual playing style.
