1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Yeah, it is good! I've been following it kind of loosely for a couple years and then pretty intensely the last six months or so when release has been "imminent." Really cool that it's a one man production.

What is with this obnoxious trend for season passes for DLC? Hey pay 50%+ of the purchase price to get periodic minor content.

Back in my day we had expansion packs, and they were $20-30 and had a ton of content.

Season passes are why I typically wait for the Game of the Year editions with all the DLCs or I just pirate the shitty additional content if I bother to play it at all.

Worst thing is the new trend of not including the 'real' ending in the actual game - yes, DA Inquisition, I'm looking at you. Need to pay extra to actually see how the story ends (for the game you already paid $50 for). That new Fire Emblem model is also pretty shady - buy the game twice so you can see both sides of the story.

Picross 3D 2 is destroying my sanity and my social life! I've done 170 puzzles and I've only got 4 out of 7 stamps (it's in Japanese so no idea what the stamps are for; presumably for amassing Picross Points). Not even curious to start Life is Strange or the new Fire Emblem, it's that addictive...

I'm excited for it, but honestly, I'll probably play it for 2 weeks before I get distracted and don't touch it for 6 months.

THAC0 might not have been the most intuitive system, but we should make D&D great again.

I'm surprised. I can't imagine a game where PC players wouldn't be at a huge advantage - FPSs are much easier with mouse and keyboard as an example.

Oh yeah. You are completely right. The match ups wouldn't be fair at all.

Could work fine for sports, racing and fighting games.

Already works with games like Rocket League.

They could always leave auto-aim on for the consoles...basically as an admission of their FPS inferiority.

Sony has always been on board with cross platform play. Xbox has finally decided to join. The more people to play with, the better.

Got the Division for free when I built my new gaming PC. PLayed about an hour of it. It seems neat but not sure I can stomach another grindy game.

I've only played a few hours, but the environments in The Division are annoying to me. Hard to tell if an object is one you can move over or not. For instance, you can scale just about any freestanding 8 ft fence, but an waist-high pile of rubble - you're going to have to go around.

Should I get it? My brother wants me to join him in the gaming. I enjoy Counter-Strike FWIW.
