Keep it now. Sell it after SB wins his third straight Emmy for BE.

I'm surprised that they would have a vicuna coat made for the show. Would any viewers even notice the difference between a vicuna and a cashmere coat?? It's awesome that they had it made though. I thought shows had fairly low budget for costumes judging by how poorly the clothes fit sometimes... Anyway, stunning coat, thanks for sharing. Personally I'd keep it (my size too!).

bookmarking this thread for when you have overwhelming response directing you to keep it, and it ends up on ebay anyway! I predict 2 weeks!

In the words of Johnny Cochran: "if it doesn't fit, you must...sell it on eBay." I think that's what the line was, anyway.

If you love the show and want to keep it as a memento, great. But if you can't wear it, what's the point? If I were you I'd sell the thing and remodel your bathroom.

quoting this in case Salvatore "Junkyard" Scorsese missed it the first time.

Also, the top collar does not appear to be the same shape as in the screen cap

It is a work bathroom. But and it is a rental, we don't own the building.

Thanks for the comments. On both sides. As for my tailoring details that distinquish my coat. I had the sleeves shortened also and a few other minor things done. We all have our own tastes and preferences.

If the thread deteriorates. I hope that the mods will close it. I apologize for my part in sending it downhill with my finger guesture.

Taking the charitable view, here's my guess: The tailor sold you a bill of goods to pump up some sales. I believe this especially because you mentioned the copy of the British Warm as well. BTW, "cheap knockoff crap" is not a label that would apply to a cashmere camel-colored coat - it's entirely reasonable to question why a TV show would use vicuna over cashmere when the expense is extremely different but not the appearance. I would definitely, definitely have the fabric tested to see what it is. I'd hate to have it embroiled in a Feebay dispute later. Depending on what that shows and what you have in writing, you might have grounds to get money back from the tailor if he misled you. Of course, this might still be
