First day opinion: cotton over-the-calfs are a bit long... they reach my knee caps. A bit thin as already posted. Comfortable and good fit otherwise. Best socks available for the price. I will try the wool/silk ones soon.

I think its not just placebo effect coz they worked for my son too. He is almost 3 years old now and his feet were used to stink like big guy and I produced socks for him and after using them his feet dont stink anymore.

Excellent communication from Viccel, as the socks took a little while to arrive in Milwaukee from Turkey.
They are excellent OTC socks. They fit perfectly, look fantastic, and seem durable.
For other excellent socks, try Golf Knickers.com. They have even more selection and are excellent quality.

Received mine a few days ago, can only echo what others said:
- look great, colors are rich and vibrant
- even the winter ones are a little thin
- even the "mid calf" reaches up to my knee
- a little worried about the upper part - looks like it might unravel after a time

also:
- big interest in loafer-sized summer socks!

Can someone give approximate measurements from the heel to the cuff for the mid-calves? I have no interest in knee-high socks.

No, they aren't.
I'm by no means short and they still reach to my knee.

I'm 5'5". 28.5" inseam, 7.5D shoe size, and these come up maybe 2 inches short of my literal kneecap when standing for the thin cotton OTC, and maybe a bit shorter for the thick cotton OTC (thin is sized 7.5-8, thick is 6-8). I washed them all before first wear.

Dunno about you guys, but I'm a teensy bit on the short side and the mid calf edition goes up to where it should, mid calf.

I bought the Spring/Summer ones, and the thickness is exactly what I'm looking for. Not looking to stew my feet in 85 degree weather.

Then there must be huge production discrepancies; my mid-calf are just as long as the otc.
