1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Protection from what? Not from hackers.

That's the point behind PayPal which has made it so wildly popular.

    Cheers,

Taking 8 months from order to delivery killed it for me, but this is similarly not ideal lol.

In fairness, my experience is definitely an outlier, but, combined with the wrong socks being received (mid calf instead of OTC), was enough to poison the well for me.

Though, despite that, I will say Viccel is solid value for the price, assuming that has not changed significantly in the past year or so. I'd say they are worth a shot.

I have ordered 4-5 times from Viccel over the last 2 years. Recently i received the socks within 1 to 1.5 weeks. I think the time taken to delver the socks depend on tthe quality of the postal service.

I am in Singapore by the way.

Did you select the regular free shipping option, or express option?

Been taking the free postal option. So each order is like 10 pairs or something.

I took the express option for my first two orders few months back. Took around a week too.

I am from Singapore too. For the free postal option, are there any tracking numbers?

No tracking at all. But pretty fast also.
I think some buyers had issue because of the unreliable postal services (either in Turkey or home countries).

How thick are the Winter Weighted socks and would they handle 4 seasons better than the Summer Weighted? I live here in Chicago, and I'd rather have a slightly thicker sock in the summer than a thinner sock in the winter. Hopefully that makes sense.

They are chunky enough that you want nothing to do with a Chicago summer in them

Depends, I use my OTCs WW basically year round, but it is ~25C during summer here. Any warmer and I use thinner socks.

Same here. Up to 25 it should be OK. If you work in an office with AC its also fine.

Regarding delivery time, it took just one week since I ordered several pairs until I got them home in Northern Europe. Very satisfied.
