I think that we will use the 110, if only because we haven't yet.

This might be my first group order on this site. Any chance of an estimate of the price? Thanks!

Any chance of a copper task smooth in the future? I prefer that over the roughout ATM

Actually, this project is on hold while we find a replacement leather. There was a ton of copper task, and then... it was all used up. Probably won't be stocked again, but Viberg is looking into a very similar replacement leather from Horween (as opposed to Seidel, which is where the copper task came from.)

Hold on though. We should have a solution within the month.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

The price will be just around $750, shipped anywhere in the world (some exceptions obviously apply.)

Wasn't the leather like 98% of the reason for this make up?

They are trying to get something very similar. I don't know if you've ever been to a big leather place, but it's like a Pantone book, in leather. There are tooooonnnns of choices. A lot of them you just never see. I can't guarantee it, of course, but I am very confident that Viberg will come up with something that will satisfy nearly everyone.

I'd be in for a 110 last. Any updates on the leather?

No, we are still waiting. Apparently, they've got one leather that is exactly right on the color, the other... the thickness? I don't remember, exactly. Anyway, they sent in the sample and are trying to get one of two companies to get it closer. The factory is closed either right now or soon, and I don't want to start the presale for these until the other preordered MTO come in. But we will get these done in the next round, assuming there are no further complications.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

Saw this in the larger Viberg thread, apparently this is Copper Task Roughout. I realize that the Cabourn boots were pre-distressed, but should we be expecting a leather that resembles the one below or the darker brown of the Cabourn boots?

Darker. That shot is really overexposed.

We are still waiting, but it's in the wings. I am just waiting for the other makeups to come in first, and for the go ahead on an acceptable replacement leather.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

And did we decide what type of leather would replace the copper task?

edit just read the entire thread on how viberg ran out of copper task (a true travesty). hopefully they find something as good, i'd be down for the 110 last with a captoe as well. the type of leather for me has to be roughout, i really appreciate the nappiness of the rest of viberg's roughout offerings.

How is this MTO looking? It's been a few weeks and no stirring yet.

I presume we're still waiting to hear back from Viberg about a replacement for the copper task leather

There are currently around 3 makes outstanding, I don't think any discussion on more makes will take place until these are shipped out.

This is what I was thinking was the case. I also thought that some of the makeups had begun to be received so that's why I asked.
