Just worked with Kevin from DR to nail down my Viberg size in the 1035. Ended up with 1.5 sizes down from my Brannock (just barely a 9, D/E) - a 7.5. Probably fine for the 2030 too, but I'm using an 8 currently.
Interesting. Did you try on a pair of 1035 in size 7.5 or was this decide based on how you fit in other lasts?

I'll wait to hear from @RogerKaputnik but I think that's a factor that no one mentions when we talk about sizing here.
2030 and 1035 have relatively low insteps. 2050, the laceless last, has a high instep. Just to add to people’s sizing info; I’m 11C brannock, a smidge over on my left foot, flat footed, low instep and I wear 10.5 in 2030/1035 and 11 in 2050/2020.

Hmm interesting, do you all have higher volume/ high insteps or low volume/ low insteps?
Yes I probably have higher volume feet. I definitely have a high arch and in the 7.5 size, the waist of the boot really scoops under and supports my arch. I have a 2030 in an 8 and I while it works well, I wish it was half a size down. I was skeptical on the 7.5 at first, but Kevin at DR talked me through it, and he was right. Wore them 8 hours the first day with about 3 miles of walking, with no problem at all.

I sent Kevin some photos of my foot in my bourbon horsebutt 2030, size 8, indicating where the widest parts of my foot were fitting. He thought they definitely looked half a size large, asked me a few questions about the fit, and suggested the 7.5 in the 1035 Noir Vitellos.

Oh I thought you were at the store getting fitted. Are you sure you're a 9 brannock? The Horsebutt is definitely too big.

I found these mocha vintage service boots online at a store named Niftydo. The link describing the boot doesn’t work. Can anyone identify which last they are made on?

I might be wrong, but it looks like 1035 with a semi structured toe.

it’s harder to tell when you don’t have a top down image.

Yep, heel-toe I just reach a hair over the 9 line. The Horsebutt actually wear very nice, and have the longer toe box than the 1035. But I do wish they were 7.5s.
