Where are the Color 8 shells? Price is about $400 cheaper too and not MTO

Still on their website, but limited sizes. Was told they would be doing a massive shell restock soon.

True. However, I feel like with the ballooning demand for HB, your chances of getting a pair with distinct grain (specifically from a high volume maker) has fallen significantly.

Grain isn't a guarantee. Shinki has an above average chance, maryam a below average, and horween only with the new essex family since the cxl ones are corrected typically. Comipel has no grain, guidi usually doesn't either. Cloe is hit or miss too.

Yeah I decided I would only ever have one shell order placed at a time and I still don’t think I would get these if I didn’t have mahogany shell order.

Love the marbling on my scuffed Color 8! I'm sure they'll do another run in the future.

Those are gorgeous. I just realized I said "scuffed" but meant "unglazed" Color 8. I still haven't seen any photos of the unglazed Color 8 in the wild.

But, yes, if the scuffed ones come up again, I'd certainly consider those. (And yours have hooks at the top (which I love).)

Sounds like you guys want Viberg to offer a "VIBERG BESPOKE SERIES" with custom made last, hand selected leather (just to make sure you like the hide) and three fitting sessions....... for a price tag of $8,499 (Color No. 8 Cordovan for additional +$ 1,000 Actually +$ 1,550, shortage/logistic/inflation). A very good deal!

Winter Smoke Classic Calf today.
I really like these boots, but I managed to pick up a cluster of scratches on the toe of the right boot that I don't like. Brushing and conditioning didn't make much of a difference so I guess they're part of the boots' story now.

Could always use a bit of polish if you don't like the scratches

While we're on the topic of Muschios, I received the plain toe 1035 pair I ordered from Freenote. I'm think I'm probably going to return them, but I wanted to see what you all thought about the dark discoloration on the toe of the right boot.

If you intend to put some wear on them, this colour variance will patina out. Welt stitching and overall construction looks fabulous, would definitely keep them imo
