Honestly so glad I’m not fond of shell. How ridiculous

re: color 2 and 4, tannery row emailed me a few months back and said “over the years, these two colors have gotten closer and closer in color.”

pretty boot but im not racing to drop a rack and a half and wait half a year for them. power to those who do tho.

I don't care for that makeup, especially that price. Add eyelets to the 2020 release and it would be perfect IMO.

I have a pair and they are pretty great. Much redder than in that photo though.

I initially wanted to swap the eyelets for nickel as well but haven't gotten around to it. I'm happy with them.

I would also have liked no pinking on the toe cap but it's subtle enough that you don't really see it. I might have a cobbler carefully slice it off if I ever get around to having someone do the eyelets for me.

All of the light shell colors are merging together too - whiskey, bourbon, calvados, Cointreau, Luxardo, some lime and a ginger beer float. Wait, what was I talking about?

I’m not fond of shell but I actually like the overall build and color but I’m not dropping 1,500. I rather do Carmina’s jumper boot and pay $900ish or Enzo.

I like this one, but I'm holding out for a shell makeup that really moves me. I've got a couple of shell preorders I'm waiting for, so anything else I order (and certainly >$1500) has to rock my world.
