New boot day! I just received the Lost and Found mushroom chamois chukkas on the 1035 last. I’ve had chukkas from other brands (White’s, Alden) that I’ve sold due to fit issues, so I figured I’d try these out knowing how the 1035 last fits my feet. They fit well right out of the box, but do have some heel slip mostly due to the stiff sole. These Vibram wedge soles are soft, but have very little flex - they’re about as stiff as Dr Soles. Hopefully they’ll break in soon.

Rowdy Dachshund 1035. I took advantage of Withered Fig’s BF promos, I went pretty crazy haha, I also purchased their version of Dehen’s Winston jacket, shawl cardigan and a Corridor shirt. Richard is a really helpful guy.

I like how they skived the forefront of the edges on this pair. It’s something I haven’t seen on my other pairs.

Some guy made money flipping a pair of black ones to me. I’m not even salty - my fault for not jumping on the sale when I had the chance. This though!

I paid 500 shipped, which is a little less than I paid for the anise pair (Cultizm sale). I’m looking for a size 11 in chocolate to complete the set!

I got a pair at the first markdown at 50% off, $400 shipped? I was able to pass to a fellow member at my cost. But I know some have scored 70% or 80% but that's rare. $1000 is nuts, that pairs is on there forever though (I also a size 9)

I wore those same boots tonight. Got them for maybe…$300? $350? From that sale. The light tan ones in my size were returned and sold for under $100 and I will never forget what could have been mine.

50% off was the widest they were available, they went straight from full price to that discount instead of hitting 20% and 30% on the way which is very unusual. Then yeah, a couple returns were sold for 70% and 80% off.
