What's it like compared to Stead/Zabri 'calf' suedes?
It is Stead suede tbh. I'm pretty sure the key difference is genuinely that this tannage is carbon neutral or positive vs the usual stuff

Well Viberg discontinued their relasting service so its no long possible. The herald is cool, but the eco suede is just okay imo. I have it on some slides and wouldn't want it on a full on boot personally.

That’s good to know. Maybe I’ll hold off until Viberg releases their smooth out Herald models, or get Brian the bootmaker to rebuild my side zips (I’ve had good luck with him the past with a pair of Truman’s).

You said you don't like it, I'm trying to figure out if that's just cuz you don't like suede that much or if it's s***** compared to other suedes.

Oh! Sorry! No its just the colors are kinda weird. The flint is okay, but the slate, terre and green one are pretty loud. My bad, that was not a detail I should have forgotten.

Cool, np and thanks. I had it on my list of things to try out on the right makeup but you had me worried for a second.

You’re not fitting into the 2050 if you’re an E width. Super narrow last.
Ive never had problems fitting into D lasts or narrower lasts. I’m worried the size 9 2050 will be too big (length/heel slip). Guess I’ll try since the guy is fine with me returning them if they don’t fit.

Toscanello TPR Horsebutts just landed. 7 days to Singapore after placing order a few minutes after they went live on .com
A couple of pics (before the last pic) with the 2030 Plain Toe Cuoio Horsebutts for reference.
This Toscanello TPR looks like the glazed version of the Brown Horsebutt (Bobcat Boot from WF, last pic).
Think this Toscanello is quite a darker shade than the Maryam Toscanello HB from other makers (White's via Bakers, Truman etc).
