I like it, but I can't explain the 110$ upcharge for the LH soles

Or folks realize they're just ugly AF.
I think it’s just a problematic combination. The slippers have already developed something of a reputation as problematic for sizing and the olive green, a great color for fall/winter when you are wearing browns and greys, is a rough match for the beige and light blue of summer. If you live somewhere with a long boot season (yay!) you have a shorter summer season (boo!) and you are looking at 700 bucks for a niche version of an already niche shoe. The random upcharge on the already questionably priced Viberg slippers is just icing on the cake.

I like the idea of polished black “officer” or “Naval” boot. Have not yet tried the 2020 last yet, but it seems well suited for this style. (Plus may provide a better fit than the 2030).

I had been thinking about a similar style (or concept at least) from Alden.
I have some black 2020 calf from mr porter and they are prob one of my favorite viberg boots.

Where do people live where they can't wear boots year round? I get it though, it would be better for a late summer release.

Wow man, relax the tone a little. No one is intentionally sharing bad information. Viberg indicated that they are only available in bulk. The website I went to only sold in bulk. And my cobbler also indicated that the people he reached out to would only sell in higher quantities. Nothing wrong with being smarter than everyone else but would a little humility kill ya?
Sorry if my tone was harsh, I didn't intend to which is why I'm stated " I hate to be that guy ". Sorry it came across that way. My intentions are good and pure I swear haha. Im just hoping people can get their Vibergs resoled how they want to, it is 2021 afterall

We've got 4 seasons here, 6 if you count false spring and second winter, but we get up to the mid-90's and humid. I'll still wear boots. Darn Tough or Smartwool socks and all is well. I've always done this though. NC in the summer? Boots. I was in Alabama last summer, boots. Not sure there's anywhere I'd travel where I'd not wear pants and boots.
