I kinda wanted to try it honestly. I just hope I like the 2020E. Having 2020 at 8.5 and 9 the 8.5 is a wee more snug than I'd like and 9 is a wee bit too big.

Well, I don't know that anyone has gotten prior confirmation, but I just heard back from Viberg, and the MTO program is dead. Sample sales will happen though still. Also add the vintage last to lasts that are dead too.


Damn.

I really hope so. I've got a lot of offbeat ideas I'd like to see happen. I'm absolutely going to ask for a 310 last bastion oxford when/if they bring it back out of spite now.

The full quote (and this relates to the new restrictions on stockist makeups too) is that everything is overhauled towards the seasonal model to better address QC.

The bigger issue is not ending MTO program. It’s that Viberg is streamlining overall production with fewer unique makeups for retailers going forward. That’s a bigger bummer from my perspective.

Yeah, I have a pair of those on preorder and had the same thought so we'll have to see when they arrive. The leather is honestly something else, it feels really tough and somewhat waxy
