I have a couple of bison bags by Coronado Leather and I like them a lot, but for some reason I don't have as much enthusiasm for that hide in a boot. Of these makeups, the bison suits the 310 best to me. I really want to add a 310 boot to my collection, but I'm not sure this is the one.

That said, as bison boots go, these look great.

So they cancelled the natural bison preorder and went with stock. That's a damn shame. That means the color 4 shinki is the only non-shell preorder for 2030D and 2030EE we're getting for a while unless something else comes up.

Yeah brett said it would be the first non-shell preorder of 2030's new widths in his stitchdown interview. He said we may get the 310D as well too even, but he wasn't sure. Guess things changed.

That said, as bison boots go, these look great.

I still have mine from 2017, this is one my favorite heavy duty leathers. On equal footing to crust horsehide. You will be more at mercy to how they click the boot since bison has some cool grain

Mine was 2030 unstructured toe, and gusseted tongue. I don’t think this new make up will take raw hide laces well.
As you can see the heels hide my chair scuffs really well.

Went ahead and pulled trigger on the Bison Chelseas. Been waiting ever since the Chelseas came out for the right pair and these spoke to me. Finally. Even though I barely go outside these days -- maybe that is going to change.

This is reminiscent of what I thought the moss horsebutt would look like, what a let down

Grain structure is a little different. What did you want to know? Obviously tannage is the biggest contributor to what the end product becomes

My only Vibergs so far and really happy with these. Cuoio HB on 2030 / 13E.

Really like the Shinki Colour 4 Oiled HB on preorder but it is all eyelets and I have to have speed hooks...there I said it!

Sorry for the crappy phone pictures but I do not have the courage to take pics outside in an urban city and don't have the skills with photo settings to make them more interesting...
