But in all seriousness, I don’t see much function in a viberg hiking boot. These would be for style only!
My waxed Hikers with a Sierra sole have been great. Traction is solid and they keep my feet warm and dry. I generally go on 3-5 miles hikes on snowy/muddy paths, so nothing crazy. I plan on using them for a very long time with multiple resoles, so in my case, it's a highly functional boot.
