Have a pair of the Viberg x Notre Service Boots from 2016 and thinking about resoling with something different than the white Vibram Christy Moreflex it came with. Hoping for a brown sole - anyone know if the Gloxi or Kletterlift soles come in colors other than white and black, respectively?

Also debating installing a side zip. Has anyone ever used a vertical zip along the shaft of their Service boots? I saw the 3sixteen and Maple zip versions both following the shape of the laces but was hoping for something a little more discreet.

The 3sixteen scouts come on a sand colored gloxi, don’t know if that’s brown enough.

as far as the zipper, I don’t know how discreet you can be unless you have tonal hardware.

My crust horsehide service boots on the 1035 last from DRoad out for a walk in the mountains. I haven’t yet hit them with anything other than brushes. They are looking a bit dry...maybe soon. Don’t want them any darker.

That's just the new leather toe puffs instead of celastic. The 2030 is back to almond shape again.

Yeah, but I assumed the 1035 comment was to the round toe shape. Brett's gonna tinker and tinker until he gets you to buy that Bernhard boot.

New Stone Oiled Calf derbies from Cultizm. I’m very happy with the color, which is a dark brown with gray undertones (no red). It looks like Cultizm still has a size 11 (2020 last) on sale at the time of this writing.

I'll believe it when I see it lol. Otherwise no plain toe 2030 for me, cap toe is fine because it hides the roundness but it's still nothing like what it was even 3 years ago.

Brett already tapered the waist and heel too. The 2030 y'all remember is long gone now. Its bernhard boots here on out.
