I just got my rebuild back from Viberg, and am thrilled with the result. These were the Noir Vitello boots from DR originally on the 1035 last. The 2030 last always fit me better, so I had them swapped over to the 2030 last on Cat’s Paw half soles. Viberg also changed the vamp from cap toe to plain toe for me.

Wonder if they would relast my DVR chammys to 2040 and change the vamp to color 4 shell, and the quarters and counter too, you know while they're at it.

I have the "stock" version of the shoe. Still on a few wears but it is easy to see the patina. From your photos and the Patina Post on DR, looks like they get a little more smooth/shiny. Very nice!

Yours have far more variation than mine. The color is really nice either way. Reminds me of a combo of natural cxl and brown cxl.

Does anyone know what Taurus rough out is? It definitely looks like suede, but is it a type of suede or a sort of tannage? I’ve googled it and very little info appears. I’m assuming it’s similar to reverse chamois?

Taurus basically a less oily and longer nap chamois. It is durable and stretches a decent amount.
