2030 is a great last for that pattern from what I've seen. Miloh Shop's release was killer (wish I hadn't slept on it): https://milohshop.com/collections/viberg/products/viberg-waxed-deer-country-derby-boot-2030-last

What's off about Withered Fig's to me is that isn't kind of a cross between a dressier boot and a work boot. Leather is too rugged and eyelets are too big relative to the boot pattern, last choice, and faux cap.

If they'd done a finer lined leather and small eyelets along with the 2030 and faux cap, I'd be into it.

I don’t see the country boot being formal or dressier, it’s pretty utilitarian and casual in my eye.

Some of drop 3 is on Viberg’s site. Looks like 6 releases so far. More will trickle out later.

How many are you gonna buy?

Probably not gonna pick up any to be honest. I went a bit overboard when I first discovered Viberg a few years ago. After a while I started to become more specific in what I wanted to buy since I had a lot of things covered already. Also trying to avoid essentially buying the same boot twice. Over time I also discovered what I don’t want to have more of which is mainly shell, Dainite soles, or more 2030 lasts.

What I’ve really been looking for is an unlined plain toe boot with Ridgeway on the 1035. I would go for the same on the 2055. The Toscanello horsebutt drop had everything I was looking for except it was too close to natural cxl which I already have.

These seem interesting but I already have two pairs of 310 boots and I’m not sure if I need another. Plus it looks like a Dainite sole.

These are great but 2030 is a no go for me right now.

Also these look really nice as well but I just bought a pair of grey Kudu boots from Grant Stone.

The wait continues I suppose.

Is the NYC shop open? Or it was only a short stint and they were out of there?

If you’re an 11.5 I’ll take some of those repetitive shell, dainite, 2030 combos off you... I have none.
