Got an email from Viberg saying that my Ivywood Shell Service Boots that I preordered in March have shipped! Wasn't expecting these for a few more months!

Incoming picture dump. I love how these turned out and I'm glad I stuck with my standard viberg sizing, though I can certainly see how those with regular width feet and a normal instep could get away with another .5 down from 2030. Definitely prefer the fit of these to my 2040s.

I can agree on that... but wholecut (formal) + small eyelets (formal) + kudu (informal) + crepe (very informal, though very comfy) = an odd duck to my eye. The derbies look much better to me. Shoes are way underrepresented in my rotation but after biting on last week's drop, will be sitting out.

I think wholecut designs are hard to pull off into a nice looking boot and few do it well. All of the Viberg wholecuts I have seen look really weird.

very nice. I bought a pair in my 2030 size, but I ended up cancelling as the salesman warned me that these would be too large for me and they didn't receive the next size down.
