Tobacco chamois Service boot 2030 Ridgeway sole. I tend to order pairs I missed out on and change them a bit.

Thank you very much for the heads-up! I've seen that before, but it looks rather different in the photos from the .com Shinki teacore -- the leather doesn't look quite the same. It also looks lined at the top, which my .com Shinki teacore isn't. Finally, I'd prefer Ridgeway, too, but that's not necessarily a deal-killer for me.

If anyone here has this teacore makeup from Rivet and Hide, can you let me know? I may have a couple of questions about the leather for you.

I'm with you on the unlined preference.

As for the photos, could be batch to batch variation, or else just different lighting? Killer leather either way.

I’ll always recommend Guarded Goods for laces

The teacore leather is really strong and stretchy so unlined would be more desirable to me.

Regarding texture, there is some slight variation even between left and right on my pair. One shoe has a lot of nap on the inside of the shaft while the other is short.

Looking good! I agree The Shinki Teacore is amazingly supple - I wouldn't say soft but stretchy is a good description. They are very comfortable right out of the box, so any lining would tend to work against that.
