I recently picked these up, and literally every single time I've worn them, I've been complimented on them. I wore them one day at a busy show last week, and a half-dozen people asked me about them. One young lady asked me about them as a gift idea for her brother-in-law, so I told her to check out 3sixteen's website, she did that on her phone, and she seemed a bit shocked (probably at the price). (I'm guessing she scratched that gift idea off her list.)

No doubt It is a fine looking hide, and has a color depth and richness that sets it far apart from typical mass market suedes. Combine that with Viberg's Scout pattern (which isn't used enough, in my opinion) and the tan Gloxi-Cut sole, and you apparently end up with an eye-catcher.

Blue suede shoes... Carl Perkins and Elvis were onto something.
These would have been my first Viberg, but I went a ‘safer’ route with the DR natural RO instead. Thankfully these were still available in my size when I came back around. I too get so many ‘looks’ and compliments. Also some shocked faces when/ if price is ever raised.

My only complaint so to say, is that the tongue isn’t longer; my other boots have tongues that are maybe an inch above the boot itself while these have a set in tongue. I don’t know if that’s all scouts or not.

Yes, I agree the tongue is too short. I also have the charcoal version, and it's the same with that.

Being that I live on Long Island, another NYC MTO sounds good to me. That being said, maybe someone can proxy for me ?.

Weird they announced it with just a week’s notice. I wonder if they’re going to skip doing a sample sale in May since they usually pair the MTO with it.

Yeah... one week notice means only a few out of towners.

Would only be interested is finding a proxy if they had that crust horsebutt from WitheredFigs Franklin. Doubt that though.

Random question...

Anyone know Brazilian Portuguese slang? There are so many Brazilians using #viberg based hashtags that it can’t be a coincidence.

They're messin’ up me feeds! ?

Haha yes!! My wife is from Brazil and I always show her the Brazilians cluttering up my feed. We always laugh about it.

#Vibe is the cool thing to post and then I guess viberg comes up as well so they use it.

DR Arabica Calf Suede Derbies today (the profile shot is much closer to the actual color than the top-down shot):

(And no, I'm not wearing high-waters; I leaned way over for the profile shot to show the silhouette of the boots...)
