Awesome! And you're lucky too as Guy told me that Viberg will not be acquiring any more Olive Chromepak. I usually see those soles on Vibergs on European or Japanese sites....Where did you acquire those beauties?

They're sold out in case you were gonna try to get a pair yourself.

I have one pair of Vibergs with double leather soles and have never treated the soles. In fact, I don't treat any of my leather-soled boots with anything. I'm not sure I'm recalling correctly but I believe I read advice to not put any product on leather soles/heels because it softens the dense, compacted fibers and that would cause accelerated wear. But I could have dreamed that...

you don't spend enough time already thinking about shoes when you are awake? Now you need to dream about them as well...

    Lolz.

Yea I think I'll just let them dry. They're pretty fucking tough and I'm sure they'll last a good while.

Why on earth would you treat the soles of shoes?

You guessed right. I definitely was on the look...I found their site pauw.com but could not find a way to get to their online webstore. The site just showed where their retail stores were and other various print...Is there a different address for their online sales?

Guess I'll just have to make due with my Smoke Reverse Kudus [IMG]

So was imagining up makeups at the gym (lol).

New to me Viberg Service Brown CXL boots arrived today - gave them a clean up

I have a few questions for those in the know...both of these boots are on the 2030 last yet they seem shaped different when looking from the top down...is that just due to one being a cap toe and the other not?

Also the Latigo navy service boot has a different heel than the brown CXL service boot...did they switch styles at some point? The navy was a MTO from 2012 done at Viberg directly so perhaps it is a style they have only at the shop?

In terms of fit the 11.5 brown CXL amazingly enough fits well enough towards the tight side with medium weight socks - I am assuming these will stretch some being CXL? or is this cxl so much thicker than Aldens that it will not stretch as much?

The heel on the 11.5 is a touch snugger than the size 12 but not as much as I thought still a bit of slip there.
