I get mine direct from Viberg through their workboot.com website. They also sell Venetian leather balm, VIberg branded Obenauf's and Viberg insoles through that website too. I happen to live in western Canada, so that's the easiest place for me to get them (unless BCC happens to sell Viberg laces, then I would just go up the street I suppose).

Question for you guys, do you feel the heel in your viberg's..meaning on the pair I have(used so I realize this may be the reason) I can feel the left heel stack and exactly were it ends on the sole...I do not really feel this so much on the right boot...it is not painful but very odd to me as no other boot I own has such a distinct feel to it.

Maybe not the heal, but I do feel slight differences and imperfections in the soles of my service boots. I also was a little surprised at how hard the inner soles felt when wearing. Fortunately they are on the 310 last and have a bit of room. I stuck a pair of Viberg insoles in there and it made all the little imperfections disappear.

    Hi all,

I am new to the forum, I stumbled across the forum on my search for Viberg boots. I am hoping that you can help me with a few questions.

As far as sizing goes, I typically wear a size 7.5US in all shoes and boots. I have several Frye and Alden boots and Florscheim's all of which are size 7.5. I have a standard to narrow width and low volume foot.

I am thinking of purchasing a SERVICE BOOT SMOKE REVERSE KUDU or a service boot color 8 from BCC, however they only offer full sizes. Should I purchase a 7 or 8, or should I try to order directly from Viberg so that I can get a 7.5?

Has anyone had luck with returns to either Bcc or Viberg.

    Thanks for any help!
    Mat

Have you checked Viberg.com? They have the smoke reverse kudu in half sizes.

Edit: Looks like the 7.5 is sold out there. They do have the snuff reverse kudu in 7.5 though. I'm an 8.5 in Alden Trubalance with medium weight socks and I can fit into an 8 and 8.5 with medium weight socks for Vibergs. The 8 is a lot snugger though and I prefer the 8.5.

Honestly, the difference between half sizes is mm's.
I would just go with the full size.

I'm a 11.5 in most shoes. So i was skeptical what size i should do in the 2030, thinking that i'd need to size down to a 10.5.
Ended up ordering the 11 snuff suede from BCC and they fit me perfectly.

So as the other gentlemen mentioned, all depends on the last.

While this may be true for some, I have been royally fucked trying to fit into a half size up or down. I'm a solid 10.5 across the lasts, and going down meant not enough length and I was always swimming in the half size up. I have pretty narrow feet, so maybe if one has wide feet then there is some leeway.

Bucket13, what model or last is the Alden boot you referenced in your 1st post. I think that will help you narrow down what boot/last in viberg is best for you and what size. I think with your std to narrow width foot any boot in 110 last would be out, maybe a 2030 last boot would be the best fit.

If you share the Alden boot style and last that will help people narrow down the options.

    good luck
