it is most definitely a 310 last
Thank you. Very helpful.
I might risk it and just get them stretched if anything
Has anyone ever sized up 1/2 from their Brannock on a 2030 due to their foot volume? That's where I'm in a predicament, and I feel like I'm crazy.
1/2 up from brannock is unusual but the 2030 is fairly low volume.
You may just want to try another last... that's why there are a lot of them!
I ended up going with the size 9 styleforum x viberg waxed flesh boot that onehotchili was offering on ebay. Excited, to say the least. Will report back after I try them on. Thanks for all the advice.
Yeah, size 9 on the 2045 should work perfectly for you. Glad you were able to get something. Please post pics when you get them.
Dropped them to be shipped this morning before heading to work... enjoy them
Not to further confuse the sizing discussion, but I ordered both a 7 and 7.5 in the 2030 and preferred the 7.5, I a 7E in Alden barrie/trubalance. The 7 felt to tight in toe clearance (volume) and felt squeezed from above. The 7.5 were the right fit, especially with heavier socks.
Is Mr. Porter still intending to have a run of the Natural CXL Service Boot in the near future?
Can anyone give me some insight on sizing for the 110 (and 2030) last? I've tried to research as much as I can, but I've come across a lot of conflicting information. Some have said size down 0.5 from your brannock, others 1.0 from your brannock, and yet more 0.5 from your Wolverine 1000 mi's / RW Iron Rangers size.
I am an 8D brannock (8D on my right foot, 7.5D on my left) and take size 7.5D in Wolverine 1000 mi's, 7.5D in RW Iron Rangers, 7.5D in OSB Trench Boots, and 41 in Common Projects. I've tried on a pair of Alden Indy's in 8D from JCrew, and they fit well, but I did not get a chance to compare to size 7.5D. I have also tried on a pair of OSB Trench Boots in size 8D and think that fits better than the 7.5D. I also tried on a pair of Iron Rangers in size 7D, and I felt like if they were wider, they would've fit perfectly.
I ordered a pair of the Cabourn Inspired boots on the 110 last in size 7 and may be regretting my decision. I don't want to size down too much and have the boot end up looking small and blobby. Should I have gone with a 7.5?
The best sizing advice is order from a place that accepts returns.
That's the best sizing advice I've heard here.
I asked that a couple of days ago and heard crickets. I don't think anyone knows.
