I mean, it's not drastically more expensive than if you bought it on the Viberg site. Stores have to make some money. It's a great boot. I have a similar pair in the 2040 last and have handled these. Keep in mind you are paying a premium for Vibergs being in style right now, the custom details, and so on. If you are new to buying clothes and just looking for a high quality pair of boots (just a guess, with your single post and basic questions), you may want to consider a pair of Aldens (see Unionmade's offerings for example) which are less expensive but of similar quality.

PSA, you guys have a few more days to get in on our Viberg for Styleforum preorders: www.styleforummarket.com/viberg/

Last day is October 26. I want to get these in the queue so that we actually get the boots in January.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

Thanks... the shell is on the whole a higher level than my 975s - the only exception is the left toe cap has a bit of an orange peel quality to it, but it's only evident upon close inspection. No roughness anywhere. The color is light enough that imperfections are easily seen and there are a few marks here and there, but very slight.

I have no idea if they will be doing more runs. Supposedly this one was less than 20 boots + Horween has been having sourcing issues for lighter shades for awhile now (as noted in the Alden thread, a Ravello from today is significantly darker than a Ravello from a few years back).

Thanks Fok for putting this together.

I have been wanting to get my first pair of Viberg and I think this is the perfect opportunity but I can't decide which one to get. Torn between the natural cxl and the Cabourn...

If you don't already have a pair in natural, would recommend that.
It's a very versatile color for everyday wear and evolves quickly.
Personally I find roughout to be more an acquired taste, even though it's a fine look in the 110 last.

Thanks. I have been leaning to natural since I don't own anything in that. But every time I see the Cabourn picture, I am second guessing my decision...

Thanks for the reply. Can you put some pictures for the similar boot?

Those white roughout boots are so good. I've been thinking about them for about 10 months now...

I wish I had 700 to drop on them right now, but I just blew the rear in my jeep and need to fix that....

Second voyage for the MTO natural CXL derbies today. Love the variations of shading in the CXL leather as it breaks in.
