Does anyone know the turnaround on a Viberg pre-order through Leffot?
And their return policy?
My brandy shell service boots have arrived. Here they are next to the navy shell service boots. The cap toes are in identical placements.
return policy is store credit only.
BTW they specifically list a link to their pre-order policy right in the email...
I read it. There was nothing about returns.
Interesting. The way the vamp matches the hell counter, and the captoe matches the quarter is a little unusual, but the color is beautiful nonetheless!
It's strange because in person it's pretty much imperceptible, only in the picture is the difference highlighted.
The magic of shell cordovan.
i really wish another set of boots was coming up soon. I'd take just about any color at this point. That stuff looks great.
Hey does anyone have any thoughts on the Leffot pre-order that was just announced? They pretty much look like a run of the mill cap toe brown and black CXL. Not sure what the advantage is to pre-ordering that, other than letting Leffot have some money for a while.
Of course if this is the last chance at ordering either of these boots for a while, that could change things. I wish we had a better window into their supply line.
I might pull the trigger on brown CXL.
what about supply line?
They're somewhat "run of the mill" but the stock black CXL Vibergs are a plain toe. And the stock brown CXL are a straight tip, no brogueing. So they are somewhat different. Can't tell for sure but it looks like the Leffot ones have partially structured toes.
you're right. You can see that pesky insert.
Anyone have any experience with Brookly Clothing Company? They've got one in my size. I might be calling uncle.
I was asking about the supply chain because I'd really rather buy from Viberg directly. If more brown or natural CXL boots are expected between now and Christmas I'd rather wait.
Finally got a chance to take some pics of these matte black Guidi calf boots that I've had for a month. Already got eight wears on these, since I am really liking them. I'm surprised that they've been selling somewhat slowly.
I also got great news that my Guidi olive/brown calf boots are finally shipping from Brooklyn Clothing. They are some great, stand-up folks there.
I LOVE THESE. Sucks that apparently my size is one of the more popular ones and unavailable. Goddammit.
