Hey - glad to see you on SF as well. Chaotic from r/gyw here.
Good to see you here too! Did you snag a pair of those Guidi horsehides?
Was in a meeting when they went up, size 8.5s already gone. LOL.
I really like chukkas, but I'm not sure that there is enough momentum to get a makeup going. I would think that the 2040 last (same as 2030, but with a rounded toe) would be the best last for a chukka. Maybe I'll put it up for discussion in a bit, see if there are enough people behind this to get it going.
2040 in oil tan mocha RO would be nice for a chukka.
I would compromise on 2040...
They couldn't have been up there too long, I believe I checked the site Saturday. Shame because I really wanted those tan horsehide. I can never win with Viberg.
Yes. Everyone's beginning to "get in" on the brand, so it's gonna make it harder and harder to get what you want, especially if you hold off for just a second (on the desirable make-ups and models at least). I love Viberg boots but it makes it less fun for me having to compete for a pair. I'm happy for the success of the company nonetheless; they're not a fast-fashion brand so expecting them to meet those demands would be unfair.
What I believe he's saying is that he received an email a few days ago notifying him that they would be up for sale today, and he's surprised nobody mentioned that email here.
Would have bought them in a heartbeat. I've been watching this sight, and theres for months now waiting
BTW typos are my fave when I'm pissed
I was also disappointed, but Guy told me today they have plenty of leather and they'll be restocking the horsehide.
Really having a hard time deciding if I want to keep my Viberg Scout Boots in Icy Mocha or not. I live in Houston and I honestly wouldn't get alot of wear out of them as our colder seasons are rather short. I have them up for sale for now until winter comes around, and if they're still around I could give them a fair shot at cracking my rotation/collection.
