due to this the extreme lack of quality and total lack of confidence in Viberg, and Canada in general, I have decided that my 316 x Viberg olive chromepak boots have to go.
(just kidding, total coincidence in timing)
Sorry dude stocks in Viberg are now plummeting, you'll be lucky to get ten bux for 'em now! Meanwhile buy my Aldens, stock is on the rise!
In all seriousness, Viberg will no doubt reply and offer compensation, one way or another, and continue to produce awesome boots. Why are you getting rid of the boots Sazon, wrong size?

My service boot in waxed flash arrived today. No noticeable flaws whatsoever. Unfortunately too small. Let me know if you want them. They are size 9.
I think you are thinking of Toj and not Viberg.
Ok! I was going over my text the other day and have to say that I was not objective at all.
Whatever made me mad, I just want to correct myself and don't want to be unfair.
I am sorry if I offended the Brand Viberg and the Viberg family as well as their workers.
I never wanted to paint a decline scenario because of an interview or a not perfect sample boot.
There are some boots I own and I have to say that since I know Viberg shoes I am kind of a collector. And in this case it is expensive but thats my problem not Vibergs. They make the most sexy boots at the moment. And I understand that if someone wants your stuff so bad you are on the right way, economically spoken you name the price!
And the sample sale is the best example! But its fun!!
My experience with the Viberg company so far is top notch.
The thing that makes me wonder was the Hiker 66 example, what I told already. That made me think about value again!
And eveyone can decide himself if he wants to be a part of the "hype" or not.

Update on the sample boots that I received with the gash. I emailed Guy at Viberg with a curt email and he responded very graciously. I will either be returning them for a full refund or I can keep them for half off. I'm leaning toward returning them, but I'll sit on it for another day. All in all, Viberg's customer service was very responsive and they will stand by their product.
Glad it worked out for you. I would probably return them if I were in your shoes.
