That said, this is a third example of their boondocker roughouts, all with leather soles (only switching up the last). You'd think that they'd do a Dainite or some kind of rubber sole for *someone* especially as the leather sole is actually completely inauthentic to the style. But no, just another leather sole.

I would also really like to see boondockers on some proper rubber sole. There's these for Kentaurus, though it's only a half sole, but anyway: http://www.kentaurus.de/produkte/schuhe/page.html (there's also a merlot chromexcel service boot, 2030 last, if that interests dieworkwear)

This toebox is wider than I normally wear, but I think it works perfectly for this makeup

2045

It was the SF x Viberg waxed flesh boot from round 2 of the makeups

Sorry it may just be the angles, but from said angles I am not a fan of that shape. Maybe it is the toebox as you said. Dunno.

I am not surprised by that. Definitely more of a classic workbook shape with a wider toe box. This boot with the waxed flesh and full commando sole is a serious sh$t kicker. These will not be mistaken for a quasi work/dress boot

I guess that makes sense. Definitely a departure from what you normally gravitate towards.

Agreed. Out in a few manufacturing plants today and these are perfect for field environment.

Here are a few more angles

Agreed, toebox kills the 2045 last for me. It has it's place as a traditional workboot look and Ryden seems to at least have a good place to wear them. I would really have no need for a wookboot but the waxed flesh is a nice looking leather.

The waxed flesh is super nice. This boot doesn't look right new though it needs to be beaten to hell. The 2045 is certainly a bit more rounded, but I can tell you that its DAMN comfortable!

I agree with that. When I go out in the field, steel toes are required 100% of the time if I am visiting customers. Not so much with vendors.
