1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Aight - I need some more opinions on these. I'm not a "white shoe guy" other than sneakers, but I'm curious if you guys think these boots would fall into the "white shoe douche" category, or do you think they could be rocked in a rugged manner (not douchey white shoe manner) after they get some miles on them and get beat up?

Personally I feel they could be pulled off without looking like the idiots I see wearing white leather loafers. Thoughts?

I don't think they are necessarily "douchey" by any means, but I have to say that it is hard for me to imagine them looking "rugged." I think some third option is needed...

Total douchebaggery, me thinks. I mean maybe if you're Ryan Gosling and dressed head to toe in denim a la the Canadian tuxedo look from "Drive" (he wore white Stacy Adams' Madison boots).

Otherwise, I say good luck trying to pull this off.

Although they aren't for me, if they were broken in and had some wear and tear on them they could look pretty cool.
If they stay pristine, they would be too stark for me.

Actually its the type of boot only a non-douche bag can pull off.

I think hipster try-hards are douches. So yes, it's a douchey look.

Pretty sure we are all "try-hards" for even wearing Viberg in the first place. Own it and love it-you're all hipsters for having this 350 page thread to begin with..

I received my guidi horsehide service boots today. They look amazing, the texture is really interesting. Can't wait to put some wear into them.

Tan Horsehide. First boot on the 1035 last and for me fits the same as the 2030. I really like this makeup.

Ordered Monday, delivered today. Very much prefer the FedEx shipping over the Canada Post - much faster.

Their shipping is super fast! I haven't had a chance to wear them outside yet. Also, it's on the 1035 last.
