If you have any other Vibergs or other boots could you post a picture of the toe shape side by side. My size is still available and I need just a little push. There are many pics of the 2030 out there but not so much of the 1035 last. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Or just higher res photos in general. This is the last meant for their upcoming derby shoes, I believe. It's the rounded toe version of the 2030. Looks much wider, so I'm not sure if we should size down another 0.5 from the 2030 sizing.

The front width of the 110 last fits me well, but there is heel slip due to the width of the heel cap (even with thick socks).

For future reference - do you think I could go down half a size or should I try another last?

110 last is EEE (wide) so you're not going to run into trouble with tightness in the toe box.
If anything, just watch length to make sure you're not coming up short.
I sized down 1/2 from Barrie and it was a little tight on the vamp until the boots broke in.
The heel was, for me, slightly tight. Every foot is different so YMMV.
They broke in just fine and are quite comfortable now.

I read to size down half a size from your 2030 size, so that sounds right.

Curious how the 1035 wears compared to 2030.

I've also found that boots and shoes wear differently even if on the same last; I don't notice the heel slippage as much if it's a boot versus a shoe, and the vamp can feel different.

That's why for me, it's not enough to know your sizing in a certain last; you still have to try it on and asses.

Found out that the derbies are on the 2030 last, and the Nigel Cabourn boot on the 110 last. Here we come. Next set of makeups coming within the day.

Any chance of doing the Cabourn on the 2030 last? Maybe we can take a vote?

We'll take a vote between the 2040 (which is the round toe version of the 2030), but in case it's close, we'll give it to the 110. The thing probably needs to be round to toe look right. Unfortunately, they can't do the rivet.

Excited to see what ends up happening with the preorders!

Does anyone have any experience with customs? I just realized that they'll be shipping out for Canada.

The SF makeups ship to LA Guy first, so you shouldn't have any issues with customs.

110 is so wide. Hard to wear nicely with narrow feet.

1035 looked good on the french calf and has a rounder toe?

We may allow a vote between the 110 and the 2040, which is a round toe as well, but has the same, more narrow fit, as the 2030.

110 last is perfect for the cabourn boot IMO. Not everything needs to be narrow and sleek
