You're right, though, that he may not be quite as enthusiastic with what actually shipped this week.

I am wondering if they did miss a finishing step, as has been suggested.

That .jp pic of the 310 Cuoio had me wanting it for my first 310 last, but either Viberg missed the finish or there's that much variation in the hide. I still would have gone with this leather in 310 either way, but I would have been happier if it had looked closer to the marketing pics. Shame it tore during lasting.

I’ll say the color of moss is very similar to the run of crust horsehide or crust CXL boots, but with a better shine

Moss doesn’t even make sense as a name since it really isn’t green

Touching on Viberg pricing, I don’t think anyone would even look twice at my recently resoled 3sixteen boots. If I were to tell them [after the resole] they cost upwards of 1k I fear they might pass out.

It’s definitely 2030, it just looks more bulbous because of the leather toe cap. If it was fully unstructured it would look more sleek
