Idk. Seems unnecessary. No one would understand what it is anyways. Whenever my wife shows her friends my office they all ask how I could own so many brown boots.....?‍♂️
So your office is in a closet? You have a closet office.

I wonder what Miloh shop thinks of the drop. I’m sure like us they were expecting something else. I’m also really questioning if these were built on 2030

Apparently Standard & Strange sent back their order because Viberg missed a step in the finishing process that brings out marbling/depth

I don't know. I think someone confirmed that S&S's 1035 drop of the Cuiou had to go back to Viberg to be polished as well. Its just a rough release honestly.

I feel like a lot of this year's 2030s look like 1035s. Those Tochigi ones come to mind. You'll never convince me these are 2030s.

There was a run of Tochigi that was stamped as 2030 but was actually 1035. I cant remember which stockist had it.

Looking at the photos in Stitchdown and .jp, what you guys are saying doesn't seem inconceivable.

On .jp, the moss definitely looked more subdued than the cuoio, especially the 310 version:

Will be interesting to see how the S&S boots turn out after they come back from the factory. I think it's likely that Viberg handpicked some of the most interesting hides to make their sample pairs from so it's not too surprising that there's going to be a ton of depth and variation in those pairs that may not be overly representative of the rest of the run.

All this obsessing over bland leathers on bland makeups lol. These looked good in a couple photos, but in person I’d basically describe both of these boots as “competent“

I think the cuoio looked pretty striking in the two .jp individual photos:

The gent at Stitchdown was rather excited by them then:

And then, perhaps the crown jewel of the Drop 3/4 lineup: plain toe 2030 Service Boot on Ridgeway soles in a ridiculously compelling used tan Italian horsebutt.

You're right, though, that he may not be quite as enthusiastic with what actually shipped this week.

I am wondering if they did miss a finishing step, as has been suggested.
