Are they not the same tannage? I thought I read that rowdy dachshund was Horween's name for it. Is it horse or cow?

Im not quite sure. I know the heel tab is different, everything else looks very similar if not identical I agree.

The unreleased error from 3sixteen that i mentioned a couple pages back is "Rowdy Dachshund". Very similar to their mocha vintage makeup

Are you going to keep them? the leather grain and creasing looks really nice! Really nice pull up leather as well. If I didn't already own the brown horsebutt, then I would have considered it.

LOL. I ordered the cap toe vintage mocha harness, and what you received looks exactly like what I got last year -- my box said Rowdy Dachshund, too! Key difference? Yours looks like it may be 30% less expensive. :)

For what it's worth, I absolutely love my pair.

This was the photo that was on their website when I ordered mine (and likely when you ordered yours):

The name of this image? Service_Boot_Rowdy_Dachshund-Cap-1_1200x

I think the person was mistaken and you got what you ordered.

Any of you guys have the old unstructured shells from Viberg? Real curious how unstructured shell looks with some use.

Sigh... I sold my color 8 1035 unstructured a couple years ago because they were too big, my foot has since grown and they would now be prefect. I really don’t understand why they don’t make unstructured shell very often. It looks great imo.

Can anyone comment on how Viberg's chukkas fit? I've seen people's recommend sizing down from your Viberg size in the oxford for a more snug fit - I'm wondering if it's the same story for the chukka.
