Those Wicked Witch of the West socks accentuate the racing stripes lol. Frustrating maybe, but honestly the boots look great, and the binding will probably mellow with some patina.

So do people just have to eat it? I mean, you ordered a 1300 dollar boot that they decided to change the makeup of with no notice or warning. Doesn’t really matter if you like it or not, it’s pretty ridiculous.

I was waiting for a comment on the socks lol. I mean it sucks they didn’t come through on the original design/color but it seems to be par for the course. I’m just glad there’s no stitching or other issues. I’m happy with the fit and like you said they gonna patina and I probably wont notice it

I'll add another point as I've worn my pair around the house a little and the 1/2 size down from 2030/1035 seems pretty on point fit wise for me. Happy I went down. Glad to hear yours are working!

I only tried them on briefly yesterday, but a half down from 2030 seems good. I noticed that my left foot was very comfortable and that the last hugged the inside of my foot. Right foot was a little tight on the instep, but I don’t think it would have made a difference if it was a half size up.
