    Thanks guys.

    So let's see,

I wear 7.5D in OSB trenches (wear boot socks) so that'd be 7D on 2030 last and similar barrie/trubalance boots if I wear boot socks. Otherwise it's possible I could be 6.5D on barrie/trubalance if I wear dress socks.

I would err on the conservative and go with the 7, I don't own OSB but I have seen the website suggest they size TTS and 1/2 size down should be right for the 2030. I feel like you would run out of toe room a full size down regardless of sock, I know I would.

I agree. I own both OSB and Alden's on the Barrie. The Barrie is a 9 and the OSB a 9.5. While socks can make a difference, I would not go a full size down and count on dress socks, especially since the OSB last is very roomy in the toe box, so your socks help fill it out, but the Barrie (and from the comments here, the 2030) is a bit narrower, so going down a full size would be much narrower than the OSB.

In my experience, CXL is definitely softer than shell. they seem at the opposite ends of the spectrum, with oil tans, etc, somewhere in the middle.

Shell is certainly not a leather I'd describe as soft.
The 2030 is quite a bit wider all around than the Barrie last. I've found that I can wear the same size in Barrie boots with dress socks as I do with the 2030 and medium-weight wool socks due to the extra width.

Interesting. Would you then say that sizing down from your Barrie a half size would work, or would you recommend sticking with the same as Barrie last. Many here have commented that the same size is the way to go...

Haha thanks guys. I guess I'll stick with the 7D for now and work from there.

Thanks! Beautiful boots. The pair to the right... is that the 110 last? Looks fantastic. I may need a pair like that.

The 2030 fits me fine, but I feel visually the taper on the toe is too sharp. I wish it looked more like my Alden Roy boots. Fantastic boots, otherwise. They'll likely outlast me.

I'd like a 2045 or 2040 but don't want too much of a structured toe; the unstructured 2030 looks nice, just wish the tip was more rounded. I think 110 last I'd have to size down half a size from the 2030; the toe box seems that wide.

I'm the same size in Barrie, trubalance and 2030.

The Viberg has a thick leather sole & the CXL leather is quite thick too. It's a stiff-fitting boot so far. There is approxiately .75" of space at the end of the toe, but, given the verticle taper of the toe box, I'm not sure how much is actually useable. I feel like it's the correct fit for my Brannock size 11C feet.
