Veldtschoen construction is basically a goodyear welt with the upper stitched down over the welt. Usually it’s 360 and not the 180 in that photo.

Crockett & Jones Snowdon and Edward Green Galway (country makeups) are all Veldtschoen.

Would people pay a premium for this? And if so why?

Haha maybe not the fields but If you live in the UK where those English veldt boots are from, you might as well be water logged in a field

A 180 Degree Veldt .. What the hell is that ?

I'm not really seeing the point of a veldtschoen boot that's not 360. An actual full 360 degree boot from Viberg I'd be very interested in though. The waterproof membrane I could take or leave, frankly I basically never have issues with water intrusion on Viberg's of any construction type, let alone any water in a 360 degree veldtschoen boot. And I have Viberg's I use for yard and construction-type work in all conditions, it's never even come close to being a problem.

I'd say I'm borderline an E, although I size down a full size from my brannock on the 2030. Would I stick with my current size or go up?
