I've come so close to pulling the trigger on that makeup so many times. I can't wait to see your photos.

Just out of curiosity: I know they're showing that as a 1040, and also showing the Colour 1071 makeup as 1040. If you look at the toes in the photos, though, they look a little different:





I'm assuming that's just due to mild differences between these makeups, but I did notice the difference as I was considering both at one point. (I ended up going for the waxed flesh horsebutt instead -- but I am still somewhat interested in one or both of these.)

I think so too. But the color varies significantly from the Himel Brothers site to Viberg

I really like the color of the shell, but really do not like the outsole choice. I may be tempted to grab the boot otherwise.

They look almost black. Is it just a really dark blue?

Edit:
The color looks cool. Like a darker version of the intense blue.

That’s what I would do. Or a half sole of some kind. Can’t justify new $1150 boots plus a resole though. Already have too many as it is lol.

From the time I shipped them out, to arriving back on my door step - 18 weeks. Definitely wasn’t quick, but they came out great. It wasn’t just a resole either, as he loosened up the instep in both boots. I think that’s why they took so long.

Those boots are certainly...something. I guess I applaud their boldness but I’m looking forward to their next “normal” shell service boot drop.
