So awesome! Can't believe 8 is already gone. Would love that makeup in the kudu. Looking at that really shows me leather sole is the way to go

I am just using some regular old Woodlores. There's not any noticeable bulging when they're in, so maybe size down for your trees?

I'm not worried about filling out the toe box since it'd unstructured. But I'd love it if Viberg made their own.

So after seeing the boondocker...it's safe to assume that the shape of the toe box of our waxed service boot MTO will be the same?

Yes. that is the 2045 with unstructured toe. I think it looks very good and should suit that boot well.

That boonbocker also has my super pumped for the grey kudu boot.

I'm looking forward to receiving the 2045-lasted wax flesh boot but I hope I haven't missed the boat on getting a 2030-lasted service boot. Thought I'd heard talk they were moving away from the 2030 last and coming up with a new last.

I remember reading that somewhere as well.........but the 2030 works for me and hope there is no intention to phase it out in the future.

Sidenote: I might go for the 2030 midnight kudu chukkas and just see what happens, as Ive had no luck finding any "real life" pics and I guess barring some disastrous pics I would be buying them no matter what.

Hah, good one, Ryden. I'm still on the fence on this. Ideally, I'm going to hold out for the black Guidi leather service boot that's supposedly coming out in a couple of months.

and at the end of the day its a black boot. Yes, it will be cool but will it be that different from other black boots? I find the smoke grey kudu a more interesting material and a more interesting color. But I am not really a black boot guy so my opinion is not worth much here...

How does the 2045 last fit?

I'm unfamiliar with Viberg sizing. My true size is 10D, and I fit into the following shoes in the listed size:

    Alden Barrie/Trubalance last = 9.5D
    Alden Plaza last = 10D
    AE Park Avenue = 9.5D
    AE Dalton = 10D
    Red Wing 875/877 = 10D
    Wolverine 1000 mile = 9.5D

    Thanks

I've been thinking about it, but for overall closet diversity, the chukka is a good fit for me plus Im not sold on the "smoke"

I am intrigued by the Kudu, particularly since this one it seems is not the same as the Kudu that Alden uses (the only one I've actually seen in person).
