There's definitely service boots on the 110 last that aren't boondockers:
Current offerings on the site just appear to be 2030 and 2045 last, FWIW.
The boondocker boot leffot carries is on the 2030 last
Thanks for the info. That answers my previous question no one saw
Deleted what a shame I usually like your comments
Quick sizing question:
If I'm 8.5E on the TruBalance, but could probably go down to 8E/8.5D, what would I be in the 2030?
I would stick with 8.5 in the 2030. I am a 9.5E in Barrie/Trubalance, and the 9.5 in Viberg fits me great. Also, my pair (Chromepak CXL) is made of tougher leather than most Alden boots, so I don't mind a little extra room in the boot.
Quit bumping. This isn't superfuture.
Are these questions out of line or just below everyone's notice?
This isn't the ask a question thread its a thread specifically dedicated to Viberg Boots.
Both questions concern Viberg boots.
The first question is self-explanatory.
The second one is about Dr Sole, a new-ish sole maker who's work seems to lend itself to the type of boots that are discussed here.
Since I'm considering a pair I'd like to explore all the options.
Just email viberg and they'll tell you what lasts the foreman and bobcat use.
As for Dr Sole that's a very obscure question and as far as I can tell Dr Sole is not a qualified doctor nor does he exist on the internet.
Hey! Had a sizing question for the Service Boots (2030 last). I wear a 10D in Wolverine 1,000-Miles and a 9.5D on Alden's Barrie last. Would 9 or 9.5 on the 2030 work better for me? Thanks!
