Not a fan of speedhooks on shell either

I agree. I'm interested. Won't take much to replace the speedhooks and I really want a plain toe natural shell.

Might be worth me trying them in my slippers. I sized down for them 1/2 size down from my 2030 size, or in other words sized down one whole size from my actual Brannock size. I've only tried them on briefly with a thin sock but I get a lot of heel slip.....

Yep. I also sized down 1 full from Brannock.

Wow! That is such a sharp makeup. Incidentally, I just had a pair of Alden chukkas resoled with that sole. I went from a very worn crepe to this Vibram and I love it! Added benefit is that according to Brian and Role Club who did the work, the pictured Vibram Christy eliminates the need for the steel shank, so it makes shoes & boots with this sole very TSA friendly. Not sure if that applies to the Vibergs but it may be worth asking if you travel frequently.

As expected, the restock is here but with a foam midsole.

It's 3Sixteen's original Aged Bark Roughout, mini-ripple, leather midsole that I fell in love with. I'd never seen a mini-ripple prior to that. Not saying they were the first but just the first that I noticed and I've coveted ever since. My roughout viberg w/mini-ripple needs are covered right now but I have to give them credit for the idea.

Be interesting to see if the foam wedge mini ripples sell as well as 3Sixteen's original stacked leather wedge mini ripples. The latter sold down very well for them based on my observations.

Longshot, but anyone got some size 8 Miloh Shop matte brown Vibergs on stacked leather & mini ripple they want to be shed of?

That was a cool makeup. I imagine the change to the foam wedge might slow down the velocity of sales but I wouldn't be shocked they sell out quickly.
