Are they pretty flexible? Good for all-day wear?

The natural horsehide has turned a tan/cognac color which looks great with dark jeans. This leather is too casual for suits, but I have worn them with khakis and other dress casual pants. The leather soles break-in very well. They’re my most comfortable vibergs.

^^Good to know. The gore looks a little stretched out one of them. Thanks for your feedback. May have to try on in person.

Yeah you have to be careful how you put them on or the gore will stretch out. But that’s replaceable when you send them in for a resole.

I don't believe shell has ever been available at any of the recent MTO events in the last year plus. The only exceptions are the pre-identified shell makeups exclusive to each MTO host.

Has anyone tried the Viberg slip-on sneakers? Are the soles appreciably more supportive/comfortable than other upmarket sneaker brands? My favourite thing about my boots is how sturdy they are and how much I can walk in them without my feet hurting. Obviously don't expect the same level of construction on a sneaker but hoping there's some of that Viberg magic built in.

Toscanello horsebutt is now $720. I wonder if part of the drop release is that they are priced less at first and then increase if not bought within whatever arbitrary window they defined.

Yup it was that much as of yesterday. The Horween horsebutts were $670 and now they’re $750.

I gave up on the 2030 a while ago. If I'm paying all that money for boots I want them to actually fit. Lots of other options that do.

Of course, these are 1035, which I find both looks better and actually fits normal people feet.

Yes, these used to be $650. Kinda crappy of them to bump it like that, especially because just setting the baseline price at $720 would have been reasonable.

Viberg just keeps giving me little reasons to dislike them these days. Years ago I would have looked the other way. Now there are too many other good bootmakers competing for my limited wallet and closet space
